STONES

A journey through the landscapes of the Coastal Chain, in the ultra-mountain area of โ€‹โ€‹Cosenza: stories, people, documents and places of Valdismo.

The idea comes from some texts present in the ๐—•๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ "Gianfranco Labrosciano" promoted by the Alt Art Association. The path was presented in the workshop "๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ" held by ๐—˜๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐—ญ๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ผ author of ๐ผ ๐‘ฃ๐‘Ž๐‘™๐‘‘๐‘’๐‘ ๐‘– ๐‘–๐‘› ๐ถ๐‘Ž๐‘™๐‘Ž๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘Ž: ๐‘–๐‘™ ๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘๐‘ข๐‘๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ ๐‘‘๐‘’๐‘™๐‘™๐‘Ž ๐‘š๐‘’๐‘š๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘Ž (2015) which highlighted some historical aspects related to the presence of the Waldensians in the province of Cosenza, starting from a discussion on what has already been researched and published by Calabrian and non-Calabrian scholars. Some historical documents (including letters and notices) subject to recent investigations and strongly connected to people of the past (Gian Luigi Pascale) and specific places in the area defined as "ultramontana" (between Jesuits, San Sisto dei Valdesi and Montalto) were exposed and discussed ).
